  1. If you've ever seen Stephen King's "The Stand", it uses several of the locations from Halloweens 4 and 5. The Carruther's house, makes an appearance, the children's hospital, Memory Grove, Ridgemont Sanitarium, and Vincent's Drug Store. Thought that was pretty cool since I just watched The Stand recently. Also, Don Shanks has a brief scene at one point.

    1. Speaking of The Stand, where was the gas station located, Campion crashed into the pumps?

    2. Also Vincent's Drug Store appeared in the Sandlot.

  2. Check out the area of Bonneville Blvd in Salt Lake. I believe this area was used for the final scenes of part four as well as the beginning of part five. City Creek runs thru the canyon in this area and some spots look like it might have been used for the mineshaft/river sequence at the beginning. Just curious what you thought.

    1. While it certainly makes sense that they'd use that area considering it was so close to some of the other locations for the film(s) I just don't see a similarity in the way the road curves like in H4. Also, the boulders on the side of the creek/river at the beginning don't seem to match the smaller one's in City Creek.

    2. FYI, it was Mill Creek Canyon.

  4. Everything was easy to find except for the Children’s Clinic. It’s really difficult to find in Orem and you can only see a little bit of it from a nearby path.

  5. The farm location was in Slaterville, Utah, where I grew up as a youth and teenager 1951-1963. I drove by two days ago and (sadly) confirmed that the old barn is now completely gone. The farmhouse we lived in is still standing, however . . .

    1. Really? The barn was still standing as of June 2022.

    2. I can confirm. I went in September 2022 as well and the barn was gone. There were a whole lot of houses being built in the area and I can only assume it's going to become a housing development.
